"Aegean Lily"- Duster

Long jacket, back length about 42 in, trumpet sleeves, round neckline. Unlined, Crepe de Chine silk. The evidence of Minoan pottery & frescoes indicates that Lily was a favorite floral motif of Aegean art. The Lily, as the flower of purity with a sacred significance, was held by Greeks in such high esteem that they associate it with their queen of the gods, Hera.
